honest luxury

Every single garment is handcrafted in Peru by peruvian artisans and using only the finest peruvian materials such as pima cotton and alpaca wool as well as upcycled materials.

We use ancient textile traditions and are motivated by the belief that ethics and esthetics can join hands channeling culture via design enhancing a circular model, while honoring heritage and building a value chain based on transparency and mutual benefit for everyone involved.

What began with one small town has grown to several communities all around Peru, where artisans produce macramé, crochet, needlework, hand-woven and hand loomed textiles.

We are working to preserve over 5000 years of knitting and weaving traditions with the help of over 300 artisans of which we have certified more than 2100 throughout Peru and Bolivia. The vast majority (around 92%) of AYNI’s artisans is female and many of them have now become workshop leaders.
